Common questions

Can't find what you need? Get in touch — we're happy to help.

When is my personal tax return due?
For most people, April 30. If you or your spouse are self-employed, the filing deadline is June 15 — but any balance owing is still due April 30.
When is my corporate return due?
A T2 return is due six months after your fiscal year-end. Any balance owing is generally due two months after year-end (three months for eligible Canadian-controlled private corporations).
Do I need to charge GST/HST?
Generally, once your business earns more than $30,000 over four consecutive quarters you must register for and charge GST/HST. We can confirm your situation and handle the registration.
How do we exchange documents?
Through your secure client portal. You'll see exactly what we've requested, upload it in a few clicks, and everything stays in one organized place — no more lost email attachments.
What does it cost?
It depends on the complexity of your situation, but you'll always get a clear quote before any work begins. No hourly surprises.
Can you help if I'm behind on filing?
Yes. We regularly help clients catch up on prior years and deal with CRA correspondence. The sooner you reach out, the more options you have.
